It was veeery heavy, had me and the Mrs climbing the back of the sofa on occasion. It shows mosts tv up for the shallow, pleb-dazzling dross it really is. More please.

Yep, it was very good, made me feel sick with anger at times, but good drama's meant to be emotional.

Yeh, it was quality. The highlight being the leader of the scooter gang.

'Give us a chip then shaun’

‘here you go’

'What you doin! I don’t want one of your ginger chips.'

And some other classics.

Very, very good indeed and dark. I was 16 in 1986 😯 made me think a lot about how things have changed.

I thought it was quality

still can't work out where its supposed to be set though

I know it was filmed in Sheffield, but they sound like Derbyshire accents to me, duck

Really enjoyed it, my wife was amused that I was quite shocked at the goings on, apparently that is the kind of stuff she deals with on a daily basis, very intense drama, some very funny things and also some very dark and disturbing things, was 17 in '86 and remember a lot of the actions and appearance of that era.

I thought it was great - and naturally got more and more intense with each episode. Last week's 'scene' (you know the one) was particularly nasty, as was last night's retribution, even more so with the intervention of a certain person.

All in all I think that particular thread was the only really heavy one - the others were the kind of things most of us got up to at some point in our teens or twenties.

I recommend some of you watch the film version - pretty bonkers in parts, and with a horrible ending (one I would never watch again).

Anyone else thin 4OD is poor - or is it just my laptop? wrong aspect ratio, bits of the action cropped off, not able to pause the program, urrgh. Think I'm just going to have to go for the DVD.

Great show though.
