Boo, order cancelled here too 🙁
So my order was cancelled too, but it seems the payments are still pending on my bank account. Is this the same for anyone else?

Just had this email from field & trek, I smell bullshit

I have just been advised by our warehouse that due to a recent server maintenance our stock levels have not been updated and stock was wrongly allocated. Unfortunately this item is currently out of stock.
We sent this notification earlier, but due to a technical glitch, apparently the message didn’t go through.
We have been trying to sort out new stock delivery, but currently have not yet heard back from our suppliers.
Therefore in order to avoid any further delays we have processed a full refund for you.
I sincerely apologize for this mix-up and I have informed our IT department about the issue so they make sure this does not happen again.
We can assure you that none of this was anticipated and we would never deliberately and knowingly cause such an inconvenience to a customer.

Surely you'd get more respect if you just said sorry, pricing error, can't sell at that price. Apologies
Yeh, exactly. I've replied to the email and said that I thought the order was cancelled due to a pricing error as every single item on their site was £20 at the time of ordering. But thanks for letting me know.
I don't expect a response 🙂
And they have them in stock on the Kickback Sports amazon site, also owned by sports direct.

I thought this was a pricing error but I’m glad you said it’s just a stocking error. The items are now showing as in stock.

Based on this and your email I shall order another pair at the increased price.
If this pair arrive I assume you will refund the difference as it is a stock issue and not price?

Is it though? It's showing on kickback sports but not field & trek as far as I can see - not that it makes a difference as it's all the same company anyway.
And John hasn't replied to me which makes me even more angry 🙂
Edit: I can see them on the field & trek website but not on their amazon site. I've emailed John to let him know 🙂
Just dropped "john" an email expressing my delight at it being a stock issue rather than a pricing balls up. I look forward to receiving the shoes. I can understand a computer cock up but am less than impressed at being spun the load of crap that was in his email.
I got the email from John as well, can't be arsed to do anything else though. SD are just really shit at customer service, I tend not to use them anymore. Don't expect anything less from them.

Although we are one and the same company with our official website, we have different management and stock levels.
We confirm the stock is not available in our store.
