I watched a few minutes, which included the cyclist who crashed. I couldn't understand why he didn't just bunny-hop the pothole; I thought that was the standard technique.

I expect it was because he was GOING TOO FAST, IGNORING RED TRAFFIC SLIGHTS & STOP SIGNS, DRUNK, WEARING DARK CLOTHES & NO HI-VIZ, HAD NO LIGHTS AND NO HELMET AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE CYCLE PATH RIGHT BY THE ROAD!!! Isn't that the underlying reason why cyclists have accidents if you're a TV show?
