BTW with Patagonia you get their Ironclad lifetime guarantee. If it fails at any point then they replace it without quibbling. I've had a couple of items replaced 3 and 4 years after purchase and they keep their word
My Pattagucci stuff, especially softshell trousers, jacket, fleeces and Capeline still waaaaay outlasts all other outdoor stuff I have. I have a pair of trousers that are 10 years old, and still going, my three year old light softshell trousers are worn almost every day for work, and yet still look new.
