For those who are interested but might have missed it I've had a notification about a new series, it looks like there's it picks up where amazon left off.

It's on freevee (previously imdb I think) which I would normally scroll straight past as it's ad supported but otherwise free to watch.

Sod adverts, time to go back to the VPN…

Don't think a vpn will fix that. It's an ad supported channel globally so far as I'm aware.

I'm guessing amazon didn't want to keep up the rights or something like that so it's gone to a third party - I'm guessing it's amazon owned but purely a guess and I'm not interested enough to check.

I sort miss ad breaks though and the will I won't I make it back in time rush to the loo/kettle/fridge. It brings an enjoyable sense of jeopardy to watching something for the Nth time that I just don't get from watching the same thing on the better quality bluray that's right beside the TV.

Freevee is Amazon Prime’s ad supported streaming service. Free to access in the UK & you can access it through Prime apps (on your TV or box for example). You just watch it through Prime as you would have done with Bosch. There will, annoyingly, be adverts though.

There are some TV services that cut out the ads, and are free. The use of a VPN is recommended with them.......... so I've heard

I've been watching The Shield on imdb TV and now Freevee. The adverts are one a show and over in about a minute. I'd find looking for a system to filter them out more of a hassle than just watching them!

Can't wait to see this. Even though initial reviews suggest that it's essentially Bosch S8 despite the rebrand and that maybe the pandemic restrictions led to it not being as good as it might be. Perhaps why it's gone onto the A-Team & Magnum PI channel.
