What's the sizing like? Is XL proper XL or skinny Assos Italian XL?

Do they shrink massively like the rubbish craghoppers one I bought the last time there was a PSA on here?

for some reason I don't apply that rule to clothing - funny really as of course a base layer is normally hidden anyway...
