just leading on from posts on other random threads, thought I'd start a thread with some festive booze deals. The idea being if you see a good deal on drinks you could note it up here for everyone else. Whether it be for lager/bitter/ale/wine or spirits, it's all good. Would probably be good if the thread runs for a while if you include the date as the deals can change daily.
I'll start with everyone's favourite wife beater.

06/12/13 -
Stella Artois 440ml cans:
Tesco:
18 for £16 = 88.8p per can
or 30 for 21 = 70p per can
Sainsburys:
18 for £12 = 66.6p per can *winner*

For a week last xmas Tesco did 24 cans for £12, so holding out buying a load just yet.
Morrisons don't do on-line and Asda don't have deals on Stella atm.

Jamesons:
Tesco - £15 !!! *winner*
Sainsburys - £17
Asda - £18.

700ml 10yr old Aberlour:
£20 at Asda & Sainsbugs

700ml Smirnoff Vodka
£13 at Asda & £14 at Waitrose and Tesco. Jesus that's a cracker!

EDIT: Excellent, thanks for that Johnners. If you liked Sherry you could get well hammered at a litre for 8 quid!!
Is there one for the grape & grain?

Tesco - Talisker for £25, Old Pulteney £23.99.
/not/ cheap, but my local Tesco has Glen Elgin 12yo (I think) for bit under £40 and it's a lovely lovely dram. Also Longmorn-Glenlivet (G&M bottling) for about the same price.

Highland Park, Bowmore is I think £25 too.

Usual Glenlivet & Glenmorangie deals, didn't see too much Aberlour TBH.

If you want Red the 3 for £12 on Marques de Montino Rioja @ Sainsburys is very nice + 25% off over 6 bottles on all wine makes for a good bargain.

Looks to be loads of offers on Fizz but I'm not a big fizz drinker so don't tend to notice whats out there.

So you're saying that I'm a dosser and the beer I drink is dossy?
I drink Stella because I like the taste. Why insult me for that?

I'd say that's fair enough 😉

Morrisons were doing 33% off 6 bottles the other weekend. We bought 18 bottles that were already half price and used my brother's 10% staff discount card, worked out at about £3 a bottle for £10 a bottle wine 🙂

Sadly, there was a limit of 18 bottles per customer and we couldn't be bothered going back through a few times.

Me too. Until they changed the brew to the current 4.8% and it lost its edge a bit. Now I won't pay the slight premium over the 3.8% Carlsberg that can usually be had for around £12 for 24 cans

Aldi Castellore Montepulciano is only £3.69 a bottle, it's great with pizza or pasta, especially if you let it breath for a good couple of hours, we'll be having a couple of bottles of it on Christmas Eve, but for Christmas Day we'll be spending a bit more.

I wasn't insulting you, I was insulting the beer and the supermarket.

Who says Stella makes you aggressive?? 😆
