Gargh. I paid a whole £5.25 for it, then got gifted a paper cop in secret Santa last year. It’s worth it though - great book.

I’ve now read the following 2 books and despite what other have said, they’re good. The second book (messiah) less so bit the third (children) I think might be better than the first. Maybe. Hmmm.

Yes it's a bit frustrating when that happens. I think I've only paid full price for a couple of books since I've had my kindle. I have a big library now of books from various authors I like that I only paid 99p each for. When I see them on offer I just buy them.

A few month back they pretty much had all of Robert Harris' novels available for 99p. I got about 5 of them but wish I'd got more.

You know libraries lend e-books for free now - well worth joining your local one!

Thanks. Never owned it on Kindle until now. Time for a reread.

Came here to say similar, I know who needs the support more.
