I think a Grade 2 storm is pretty big (radio interruption etc), you may see it further south than usual. Biggest issue will be your light pollution....

Thanks for the PSA I saw the Nothern Lights in Finland last year,here's hoping I get to see them in West Lancs!

Living in Bellingham we are already part of the " Dark Skies" ..however just in the last fortnight we have had our street lighting changed from Orange glow to white lighting ..which is great unless you need the illumination to find your way .

It's a beautiful evening ..heres hoping !
