Bit of a long shot this one, but working from home makes you scan the planner for stuff and this (amongst other stuff) is what I found.

Dunno if you can remember that Aron chappie who went climbing in Utah (Saints!!) fell down a ravine and trapped his arm and had to cut it off to escape.

It's that one.

Don't thank me.

Much better if watched backwards.

Then it becomes a heart-warming story about a disabled man who goes for a walk in the desert and finds a new arm under a rock. 😀

Dont get your hopes up too much, it really isn't that good. The book is much better, although that was hardly a classic.

Danny Boyle should be ashamed of this film.
I'm not a massive fan of his, but he picked a crap story in my opinion - arrogant man falls over, traps arm, gets thirsty, cuts arm off, still remains arrogant.

I think it sets up for the sequel with Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones.

Watched it last night.

Ok material for a TV movie, but I can't believe it got made for cinema.

I'd have been pretty naffed off if I'd paid £7/8 at the flicks just for that.
