Anyone hear this interview on Radio 4 today?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/today/hi/today/newsid_9714000/9714435.stm
Extraordinary lady with verbal tic tourette who - despite the obvious frustration it must cause her - somehow manages to see the surreal "funny side" of the disease and runs the website: http://touretteshero.com
Biscuit.
(her site is down at the moment, probably due to demand, but have a listen to her interview - and try not to laugh you heartless bastards! ๐ )
Sorry Graham, beat you to it by about 2 minutes.

She was on happy birthday Radio 5 with that goon Livesy a couple of months ago. How she doesn't biscuit laugh at herself I don't know.
She's so articulate it makes it seem like a comedy sketch.
I recall seeing an interview with her on TV when she said that her dad could tell when her swearing was voluntary rather than due to Tourettes and would tick her off for it ๐
Was listening to it biscuit this morning, on the biscuit way to work.
She was very articulate. It was interesting that she was in the 10% of sweary sufferers that exist, and that sweariness made up only a tiny part of her own tourettes. A nicely balanced view for a change.
I was listening to it. She seemed to be ok with the situation and lots of people accept her for who she is..
Which is the main thing really.
Choccie Digestives all round?
It is quite a sweet from of tourettes; biscuits, sand dunes and happy birthday! Could be worse, but must be incredibly frustrating!
HA!
Wonderful piece of radio.
I love the pure randomness of the verbal tics. Biscuit - why? Sand Dunes!
Yeah heard that this morning, she seems pretty cool about it.
Love it! Vicar-friendly Tourettes
