is it alu or steel?

is powder coating alu any different to powder coating steel?

or should i plasti-dip it? assuming powder coat is harder wearing.

cheers

My mate got his annodised black, it matches his wheels now. Looks awesome

I plastdipped an LPG tank (but brushed it on)

Seems undestructable and very hard wearing, but does have a slightly tacky finish.

(Tacky as in sticky, not scruffy)

hmmm... annodising. there's a thought. have got black alloys, too.

what is generally cheaper? powder coated or anodised? and which takes longer?

and there's not su much to go wrong with anodising, is there? have seen some dodgy powder coat finishes.

Anodizing is more durable. I had the roofbars done on my disco 3 at Moss Metal Finishers in Halifax.
