Edit; beaten to the punch (not shot see; commensurate) by clubber 😆
I still think you're a violent fantasist though 🙂
I can't argue with that Clubber, but one man's fantasy is etc...
v8ninety - MemberMe, the reason I keep a shotgun is purely as part of my Zombie Apocalypse (tm) escape plan. It's what I told the copper, I think he may have thought I was joking...
Didn't use a gun though, did he?
I am sure he would have done had he the opportunity. Anyway Rambo didn't have one until about halfway through the first film IIRC - it was all knives, traps, spikes and flexing muscles.
😀
It's funny how the Crown Prosecution Service seem to disagree entirely with TJ isn't it ?
You would have thought they would have consulted a Nurse from Edinburgh before writing that article wouldn't you really.
Would have saved them the embarrassment of getting it all wrong and having to correct themselves later, once TJ let's them know about TJ Law.

😳
It has clearly highlighted that I was correct about the violent fantasies of the gun nuts tho and the impossibility of defending much gun ownership.
pure fantasy.
STW is your utopian armory, stuffed with ammo and a willing audience feeding off the TJisms you inaccurately fire, the grand finale when you shoot yourself in the foot goes down well. the audience are amazed when one grows back in it's place.
Well, as predicted, here I am another 500 posts down the line. Phhhh.
As you were.... 🙂
And it's still the same old rubbish, Peter! 😆
MrSmith - Memberpure fantasy.

FIFY - Heh...Always wanted to try a FIFY
TandemJeremy - MemberEdukator - tehre have been numerous instances of homowners being prosecuted for excessive force - its fairly clear where the limits are
really? i would say it isn't clear where the limits are. at one end you have waiting by your front gate and gunning down anyone who looks dodgy to asking the intruder politely if he has any concealed weapons and is intending to use them while offering to help him carry the loot, then the huge grey area in the middle of fear as you try to protect yourself and your property.
it's not a TJ-vision black and white issue IMHO.
Bad people will always get a hold of guns if they want them, and if they all of a sudden became illegal they sure as shit wouldn't surrender them! I used to shoot a lot when I lived in the UK, but ironically since moving to the U.S I don't anymore... The wife has loads though! 😉

Everything is black and white. And my vision is,while fluid, the only correct one. Besides who will remember if I change to the polar opposite of my original viewpoint?
Top trolling! 🙂
Hi Peter, are you new???????????
Could any of the shotgun owners drop me a line per profile? I'm looking to buy a couple of guns (awaiting issue of licence at present) and could do with some advice.
Yep, but I was trying to find out decent dealers to use and some questions on chokes, barrel length etc. Somehow my local clay ground wouldn't be impressed if I turned up with one of those mosters.
Oh TJ! Why cant you accept that different people enjoy different pastimes and we are not all the same. I have three children, run my own business, enjoy cycling and one of my other pastimes is shooting. Oh God! I must be some sort of monster...I enjoy clay shooting and I also enjoy some rough shooting where what I shoot does go into our freezer. I also help out on a local pheasant shoot but am quite an ordinary mild mannered chap. Just accept we all like different things and it is not your right to impose your beliefs on others just as it is not for me to tell you what you should and shouldnt do.
Oh TJ! Why cant you accept that different people enjoy different pastimes and we are not all the same
I don't think that was ever the issue. The suggestion was that the price to pay for your freedom to enjoy yourself differently is not one that is worth paying by society...
...or at least that was the conclusion I came to - and disagreed with - before leaving this alone. Gawd knows why I've come back. Do I not know better? 😥
Do I not know better?
TJ does. 😉
