Not to be confused with a Prince Albert's Drop which involves hitting something else with a hammer.

Tried making those a few times - you really can smack the bulb end as hard as you like with a hammer, but snap the tail with your fingers and it detonates. I was finding bits of glass in my hair for days ๐Ÿ˜‰

Wow.

Interestingly, for me anyway, was the polarised light. We use a polarised light box to measure the internal stresses on PET preforms and bottles at work.
