Looking at going to northern Portugal for holiday with mrs W and kids (no biking I'm afraid!)....looking at a villa inland from Praia de Ancora. Anyone been to that area? Any good?

Been further south, but considering north of Porto for this year, so checking in to follow.

We went for day whilst on a family hill to Pontevedra just north of Vigo in Galicia. Beautiful beach, and pretty quiet. Water was a little choppy for kids, but there is a small estuary which is clean and shallow. Only stayed for an afternoon, so can't say much more really.
