Every other trade, I'm slowly getting good 'uns lined up for a bit of a project...but a plumber? Bloody nightmare. Of four contacted, 2 never returned quotes, and tonight one didn't even turn up.

Any recommendations? Please!! I'm considering doing it myself at this rate.

tell you why they dont turn up for projects at this time of year.. we re so busy im doing 6-8 repairs a day and not landing home till 8-9 at night no time for fishing trips.. head down graft.
