I've got a load of hedges in our new place mainly made up of hawthorns plus a load of general greenery that needs some tlc.
Is something like this Hitachi CH62EA3 any good or is there anything else I should be looking at? My budget is up to about £300. I'd rather buy something that will last and do the job.
Thanks
I bought a Stihl from ebay and it's tremendous. No other experience to offer, I'm afraid.
rocking an HS45 with the long blade option that i inherited from my grandads gardening business when he retired
used for hedge cutting and for cutting the road side since its too long for the strimmer.
easy to start and just keeps on trucking.
at least 10 years old now and had heavy use when i worked for my grandad - well serviced though.
can be had for 209 quid online from a quick look.
Thanks for the replies. I'll go for a Stihl.
