Absolutely detested them as a kid. For some reason along with a lot of other music from around that era I now love it.

My own parochial view is West End Girls was the highlight of their output.

The rest, no thanks.

Guy at works girlfriend is mad about them so I watched until the lad in the silver outfit who couldn't sing came on. Lights looked good, plus if you were there it might have been better. Just wiki'd them the lead singer is 65!!

I'm not a fan, but what has age got to do with it?

The PopKids* are young though (and really made the PSB show when I saw it last).

I fell asleep at one of their gigs back in their hey-day. Dullest thing I've ever seen.

I'm not a fan but MrsOomi is and we managed to get tickets for the Saturday night warm up gig in London. same set as Hyde Park but none of the theatrical stuff in a small venue. It was a great gig, I'm not a convert but it was a fun night, the crowd and the band all seemed to be having a whale of a time. Watched the Hyde Park gig on TV too and booked tickets to see them next year.

I enjoyed watching, I like their more electronic beats but the pure pop (Sa Vida E) I can live without.

It also prompted me to listen to Kraftwerk today including the full 22-minute version of Autobahn this morning, amazing 8)

A memory firmly burned in my brain is of a friend of my wife's who was a royal PITA, jumping up in my lounge to dance to the Pet Shop Boys and farting loudly as she did so. I find it hard to disassociate them from her face and the sound of her peeling one off.

I quite like them. They were certainly of a time though.
