Reading that 2nd link just reminded me how rad Kelly Slater is. If competes in the Olympics next year he must be getting on for being one of the oldest ever competitors in (what I'd consider) a properly athletic discipline (IIRC all the actual oldest record holders are in shooting/archery/horsey stuff)

(the other guy is rad too 🏄‍♂️🤘)
