could be the BIOS battery has gone flat and you've lost your date settings, meaning all your cookies are getting expired

then tried to cover yours/their tracks and deleted browsing history and all the rest by mistake....
Some how however hard i try i get busted every time 🙄
it's mounted on the motherboard, looks like a watch battery type of thing
there's usually a message on start-up if its dead but it can be easy to miss, easiest way to check it is to look at the clock/calendar and see if they are on the correct date, if they are then your problem lies elsewhere.
