Laying an Indian stone patio. Getting ready to grout it.
So Sika patio grout or cement mortor?
And why one not the other. Cheers

I've seen lots of weeds growing in the epoxy grouts. I've also seen lots of mortar joints that have failed and fallen out. Personally I prefer to grout with mortar, but you have to ensure there are no voids left underneath, also there's a minimum width of about 10mm.

Also ease of application is key....
I want black grout* so if its a sloppy job I'm scared of staining the flags...
*sure theres a sean ryder joke in there but I'm not laying the groundwork for that pun.
