Yes! Clear as day in Cheshire as I walked back from the pub. No actual camera, sent my teenage daughter a message with the heads up, this was her reply.
It's a bit blurry cos my glasses are the wrong prescription so I'm giving it a solid 4/10

Question: if the partial eclipse had happened 50 years ago what sort of view would Neil and Buzz (and Michael) have had of it from their rather unique viewpoints ?
Not sure if this link will work or not but I got lucky with a break in the cloud. Shot through a 6” scope on a DSLR. Video acquired and several thousand frames stacked to produce the final image.
