I had no knowledge of them until my wife informed me.
It looks like the cosmetic industry defends the use of it because there are not many alternatives.
Possibility of them causing breast cancer and ageing of the skin has my wife now looking at products that are free of them.
Anyone on here trying to avoid contact with parabens and what products do you use instead?

Yup. Been avoiding them for a year now, still not sure if it's yet another needless bit of hand wringing, but it's easy enough to avoid (Products without Parabens are pretty clearly marked as it's now a selling point ๐Ÿ˜• ), and there doesn't seem to be a premium on Paraben free products.

I don't read the Daily Mail so I miss all these cancer scare stories. ๐Ÿ™‚
If you're bothered I used these. When I could get them at supermarkets. Only because they didn't make me overly perfumed. ๐Ÿ™‚
