No more than £30 , last one I bought from Sainsburys failed miserably , perhaps my impatience didn't help ! Also thinking a garden incinerator for 20 quid might be the answer ?
I got one from Staples, dunno how much but I wouldn't have spent more than £30, I reckon. Is fine - it shreds better than I do on my steed 🙂
Gerbils
Anything they don't shred for their own bedding gets bonfired. We don't have many bonfires.
Lol @ Rob Hilton ! 🙂 gerbils ? Hmmmm ?
teef I looked at that one , you got one ? Reviews a bit mixed ( as usual)

Yes - Bit noisy, does the job though but I only use it lightly - receipts, etc Metal cage already has dent in but at least you can tell when it's full.

Cheap shredders are a waste of time
Amazon Basics here as well.
We just burn ours in a garden brazier thingy.
Shred 5 sheets at a time, do a bit, allow shredder to cool off....
Just burn it
Got a Rexel one one we've had for donkeys years (at least 12), just light household use and it is getting a bit tired now but does the job well enough.
We had a Rexel last time, but it would only do 5 sheets and was forever blocking.
We've now got a Fellows 10 sheet thing and it's much better.
