We drank a barrel of Bowland Brewery's excellent Bowland Gold for my post-race birthday dinner and it was good. But today I visited the brewery in its new location in the middle of Clitheroe and was absolutely blown away; it's in an old mill and they've kept the engine and a lot of the old brick, stone, wood and steel. The result is an amazing blend of post-industrial and almost literally steam punk!

two of my mates bought BB's brewing kit (tanks etc.) when they moved. They are about to start their own micro-brewery near Lancaster.
