Bought some more Hobnobs, weren't so many on the shelf as before.
Feeling a bit peckish as it happens...

I hate to brake it to you, but steaks only work on vampires, not zombies. So as they're no use feel free to send them my way - will swap for Andrex.

Last pair of Nike Streak 7’s in the UK in my size.
A loaf of soar dough from the local bakers.
A bag of BBQ hula hoops.
I think I’m sorted.

I’m willing to risk it.

I witnessed some superb panic buying behaviour when I was panic buying Lidl’s cycle maintenance sprays earlier.
People are panic buying hand sanitiser. So much so that Lidl are restricting purchases to 2 per customer. I know this because the customer in front of me was trying to buy 6..and when they weren’t looking, the customer in front of them slyly moved 2 of their bottles forward into their shopping! This caused a very mild argument, until 6 bottle lady had 4 of hers confiscated by the till lad saying “sorry, only 2 allowed” . ha. By then 2 bottle “thief” had gone, so they both lost out and will probably be dead in a week.

I was panic buying Timothy Taylor's Landlord by the pint last night. This sore throat is giving me an awful thirst

I went to the shops to get bog roll because we've actually run out, but shelves were empty so I'm in a panic now as I'm starting to crown.

If you've got a curious turtle.. Pro tip, you can also use kitchen roll!

People really are as dumb as rocks. It seems the medium priced stuff has sold out! But the premium, budget and recycled is sill available.
My local sainsbury just now.

The kitchen roll is on the left and the bog roll on the right..

For my sins though I have ordered an extra 2 bags of huel. I've got enough to live on that alone for about a month now if food becomes unavailable.

It’s a kind of selective panic. Better get stocked up with bog roll! But only the sort my arse is used to.

Why is it just bog roll that's being panic bought? Rest of the supermarket seems well stocked?

My shower is within walking distance from my bog, so worst case scenario, I can just have a shower after taking a dump.

**** buying orphanage grade paper, I'm not an animal.

I might panic buy a new PC. If I have to self isolate I'd better be able to play Doom Eternal.

Today I've stocked up on party balloons to keep my family a stock of non-infected air for breathing at a later date should anyone in my street become contaminated.

I've also got a supply of doorknobs, push plates and handles to allow me to use my own whenever I have to use a door which could have been touched by someone whose Covid-19 status is not known.

Please feel free to purchase your own supplies of these items, I've already got loads 😉

I'm half tempted to panic buy some wood to make a few canoe paddles with.
Will give me something to do if I need to self isolate.
wondering if a makita battery router/trimmer might help fend off the hordes.
Will resort to using wood chip to clean my arse if it gets that bad

Yesterday before going to Tesco, in a panic buy, I bought a 2 litre Bull's-eye Red Hot Chilli BBQ sauce by Heinz ... 😬

I panicked the moment I saw a 2 litre bottle on sale that I must have. 😂

Me grilling some chicken wings tonight.

My g/f is seeing the panic buying first hand, she works on the till at a local B&M, and today was no different, someone forgot to monitor the door at 4pm, and a bunch of people came in and filled their trolleys, to her intense annoyance. Fortunately she can grab a pack of loo rolls when she goes in on an early start, and hand sanitiser as well, not that we use it at home, soap and water is as good, but handling filthy lucre means regular hand cleaning - some customers kick off when they see her using it and they can’t buy any, because they have an absolute entitlement to it! 🙄

I panic bought a MT500 waterproof jacket after finally finding my size in stock and having a code for another £20 off, oh and a new toothbrush and two Pot Noodles (not from the same shop).

I’m starting to suspect that there is plenty of bog roll, it’s just some supermarkets are having a laugh and not refilling shelves when it gets bought...

I was in Tesco yesterday and some of the shelves were looking decidedly bare. I panic bought a new telly while I was there. Getting fed up not being able to read the text on the wee 21 inch set I've got connected to my playstation, so got a 40 inch to replace it. Hopefully won't be crashing into any more planets in the near future....if I have a future.

I'm sure there is, its fairly simple to produce - having a total of 2 key ingredients, wood and bleach, neither of which should have been affected.

However its high volume and low value, non-perishable and "non-essential"; so unless you've got a fleet of trucks and drivers previously sat doing nothing, how exactly is it getting to the shelves in your local? What exactly are they going to cut deliveries of to make way for it?

Panic buying? Hmmm, guilty I'm afraid.
I've bought;
An extra book of stamps, second class.
Some paint, white.
A spare set of reading glasses, clear.
Some neoprene wellies, grey.
And yesterday I panic cut the grass, green.
And I also put some air (clear) in the tyres

I think I'm prepared for Armageddon...

Our @binners has kept quiet about these. It's a Northern thing right?

I tried to persuade my wife that with all the potential food shortages it would be prudent to buy a new fishing rod, reel and tackle; but she just laughed and said we'd be long dead before I caught anything 🙁

On a debatably less essential to survival note, I wonder if it is worth panic buying spare brake pads, chains, cassettes etc. in case supply get properly messed up?

Local Lidl’s loo roll shelves are empty. Plenty of tissues and wet wipes in stock though. People really are quite stupid aren’t they. Got to wonder who started this loo roll shortage thing!

I think I'll get the Orange Speedwork you all advised me to buy. I'll be going so fast the virus won't catch me.

I honestly think it was me in an attempted put-down on page 2 to a poster who'd said he was stocked up and ready, asking how much bogroll he could need! (On any list of things you need to survive self isolation bogroll would be close to the bottom. As it were). How wrong I was. Smile wiped off my face.

Likewise, I bet everyone who got hold of those last crates of alcoholic sanitising gel is going to be rubbing their hands together...

I was close to panic buying some spare pads for my new road bike, but not quite panicking so much that I can't wait for an Uberbike discount code.

Accidentally panic bought an extra 4 pints of milk as my wife didn't tell me she was picking some up too.

And bizarrely Sainsbury's has sold out of bubble bath!

Called in to B&Q to get some paint yesterday... massive pallet full of loo rolls just through the door.
Stopped at the local Bata garage for some petrol... massive pallet full of loo rolls just through the door.
Went in to Aldi for some bits and bobs... massive pallet full of loo rolls in the specialbuys aisle of dreams.
Also, loads of loo roll on the normal shelves. Except for the blue 9 pack ones I normally buy (and needed some more!). I refused to pay more for posh stuff and didn't want inferior stuff, so ended up with 2x 4 packs of the normal stuff. What has humanity come to? Oh, the inconvenience of it all.

We’ve just been given each a box of Tracker Bars (cereal/nut/fruit) from work.

Clearly don’t want us to go hungry 😱☕️🤦‍♂️
