Did one of the commentators just say, 'I slept with your stepmother' to one of the athletes?

Good effort from Campbell and a Bronze. The Kiwi was outstanding in that race.

Give the guy a chance to recover FFS! I'm not interested in an interview with an athlete who's struggling to catch their breath. 🙄

What an amazing night for the rowing last night - Eric and hamish then Mahe getting redemption from Beijing. Mahe particularly deserves respect - he was knocked off his bike 8 weeks ago and had a shoulder problem from that. He is a tough boy though. And yesterday's double was insane, they finish fast normally but jesushchrist that almost gave me aheart attack. And best of all as I sit here sipping a cuppa we are ahead of the Aussies on the medal table booyah 😀

Some quite spectacular sculling. If I wore a hat, I'd take it off.

Actually the biggest surprise last night was my wife's revelation that she had put $500 on a series of bets naming all medalists in the key races. She is an ex rower of note but it was quite a revelation, she made a decent return as well afaik.

Awesome middle 1000 from the British 4. Aussies looking left early on, Brits eyes ahead from the start. Always a good sign.

Ah the rowing equivalent of falling off your bike. Wife is adamant he has just fallen off his seat.

Seat came off the runner or jammed or he threw it so the restart could be a bit faster or he saw an alien... Opinion seems to be jammed seat.

Jammed seat but as in first 100m can re-start. Now lost their Olympic crown and got silver, so gutting! They looked broken, but those Danes were quite good looking chaps!

Yes, a very raw interview. Felt it a bit inappropriate given their state, although Inverdale clearly noticed that and kept it short and was clearly moved himself.
