Bless 'em, they made it look so easy and relaxed too. Classy row.

It's goddamn frustrating to see just how easy they make it look. I'm sooooo looking forward to the men's eight later - the Aussies look like they're rowing the pub on a sunny Sunday morning.

Yes, and your point being? It is STW after all. Besides, you're not always a beacon of love and light yourself petal.

Interesting - the GB 8 are looking much longer and less chasing it than in the first round. Germany looking rather good unfortunately...

Phew...

Bit disappointed but great race and they can't be accused of not taking the risk of going for gold rather than a relatively safe silver...

Fair dues to the Germans. Leading an 8 race for 2km is stunning.

(I put it down to the cox 🙂 )

I know the GB cox pretty well. I'll let him know that it's his fault then... 😉

I know but works both ways 😉

Nah, I'm sure that he'll be gutted but I love that they went for the win. Proper race attitude.

No it bloody doesn't and you knows it!!

Agreed though, better to race for gold and get bronze than go safe. Alan Green and Cracknell are fantastic on 5Live at the rowing.

Lovely work fromt the GB ladies' double there...rowing through the Greeks after they'd built such a lead. The Greeks couldn't believe it. 🙂

Indeed.

I believe that is 13 boats out of 13 into A-finals. Superb stuff.

Not the prettiest but by heck they gave it everything. Slow mo camera was excellent. Brut force and ignorance at its finest. 😀
