Not least due to the train issues we have decided to drive to the OVO Wembley for a gig, it will be a Monday night in December. Has anyone done this and parked? Any recommendations will be fully appreciated.
I did this earlier in the year and parked on someone's drive using justpark. Zero interaction, just booked it and drove in. Was maybe a mile walk away (everything closer is chaos when gigs let out) and cost under a tenner
edit - this link might work https://www.justpark.com/checkout/176780/ - was £4 for the evening
Which direction are you driving from?
I'd aim to park at somewhere like Stanmore station on the Jubilee Line & get the tube to Wembley Park.
There's an NCP right next door to the station.
Traffic around Wembley is bad at the best of times, and with the amount of building work going on in the local area (flats popping up left, right & centre) it's been pretty busy the last few times I've been.
I grew up in Wembley & my parents still live there, hence being in the vicinity relatively often.
They've really developed the area around the Stadium & the Arena in the last decade or so. Plenty of restaurant/bar options. Have a look at the London Designer Outlet website for details, if you fancy booking somewhere for some food beforehand.
EDIT - parking on someone's drive as suggest above was gonna be my other suggestion. 🙂
Thanks for the ideas.
We're coming from the North so Milton Keynes area.
Is it the Cure by any chance 🙂
JustPark is excellent. Not used it for Wembley but I take the boy to Leicester quite often for footy and we always use JustPark. Very easy and you can usually get pretty close to where you want to be, at a fraction of the cost of stadium parking.
Is it the Cure by any chance
It certainly is!
Can i add has anyone had any issues driving (ie congestion charge?)
Congestion charge is further into London.
ULEZ applies basically inside the North Circular (A406), but not including it - so you shouldn't need to worry about that unless you go the wrong way.
And depending on what you are driving ULEZ probably won't be applicable anyway.

I am staying at the Premier inn and they have parking, so in light of the train strikes, I am going to drive.
