We received this through the post yesterday. Made me happy that we took the hardest decision and it was the correct choice for Bingo

What happened? Your dog attacked your son and you rehoused?

I thought your name was Mark - presumably Graham is your other half?

No Graham is the Charity co-ordinator. Yes as soon as our Son was crawling then walking really started Bingo off. He'd sit in the hallway panting refusing to move/come into any room.

Glad it's worked out well for him (and you). Tough decision but still needed making.

Nice letter. That was a tough descision, but looks like it worked out just fine.

Eye,
Our westie was getting on when we had our kids and the little sod used to snap from time to time, but nothing too vicious just a few nose nips etc..sank a tooth into an eye a few times but not too serious ๐Ÿ™‚ no he did nip a bit and still does if he gets disturbed or has his manky filthy ears tugged by the kids. We thought long and hard about re-homing but the wife couldn't live with herself so he,s still here on thin ice. He is pretty old though 16 so I guess I'd be a bit grouchy.
To be honest the smells that emirate from him and his penchant for pissing on anything...just anything gets me down more than anything else. Love Westies me...

sank a tooth into an eye a few times

I'd have thought just the once would be plenty to see him off the premises, but maybe I'm just a bit too sensitive about eye-biting!

I think donks is jesting on that part. At 16 he'd be staying as not very mobile. At 7 Bingo was far more agile than westies of a similar age. So it was sadly a no-brainer as I didn't want to explain a lifelong scar or injury to a 18yr old hora jnr 'sorry son but we loved this dog too much years ago'.. Wouldn't wash
