If bubble bath is soap (must be - bubbles) and soap is er, soap - why do all the bubble bath bubbles die when soap arrives on the scene?

Told you it was important.

I may be wrong (quite possibly) but bubble bath bubbles are positively charged and soap is negatively charged so they cancel each other out, or you may just be a clarty scumbag by the time you get round to your yearly bath. ๐Ÿ˜€

Water has surface tension, soap breaks this, causing the bubbles to burst.
used to make soap boats when i was a kid.
get a matchstick rub one end on a bar of soap put it in a bowl of water and watch it move from one side of bowl to t'other.
