Anyone have an idea if theres something simple like a Pizza Hut etc in Southsea? In know there is/was one a 20 minute or so walk into Portsmouth but wondering if theres anything closer.

Plenty of "pizza hut" style places in Gunwharf Quay, from memory more pubs with food closer to Southsea or (dire) stuff near the amusements

Very good Tapas bar on Albert Road at the Highland Road end. Can't remember what it's called though!

In fact, Albert Road has several good eateries, ranging from Thai, Korean, Japanese, Indian, Turkish.... to name a few. Central Southsea has many eateries, just not that good IME.
