I'm doing homemade energy drink and I think it would be useful if the flavouring was a dry powder like Torq or High 5 etc. However the only powder I can find is Tang (an American equivalent of orange squash) which is quite expensive and not that nice.

Any ideas?

Needs to be comparable to bog standard Robinson's in terms of cost.

have you seen this?

http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/BOH5BOZEXT/high-5-bottle-with-free-zero-xtreme-tube

10x electrolyte tabs for £1.75 and a free bottle.

I got half a dozen the other day. The zero tabs seem nice.

I'm shopping at bulk powders Amazon shop. They have flavoured electrolyte tabs, and I did buy electrolyte for the recipe. But it makes it so much more expensive to have anything made up than the basic ingredients.

Why powder rather than just use the Robinsons (sorry to question your question rather than answer it but, you know, STW)

Just makes it more portable. Easier to take powder with me than having to bring a squash bottle. The squeeze pods are ok but they run out pretty quickly.

You are ahead of me, I was going to say the concentrated squeeze things if it was just a bulk issue.

Bulk Powders have a liquid flavouring. It is concentrated, so a small bottle, and pretty cheap per serving. http://www.bulkpowders.co.uk/bp-liquiflav-50ml.html
