Sorry this is a bit random but one of you may be able to help me
I am trying to source some brackets like this u shaped bracket under the bench cushion. It supports a fold down bed edge so needs to be stronger than a standard closet bracket.
Does this type of bracket have a specific name? Do you know where I can buy something similar off the shelf? I am sure I could make something but it will look a dogs dinner and take me ages!

I'd try looking at the sort of shops that do camper, boat or narrow boat furniture... that might lead you in the right direction? Good luck.

Thanks for the 3 trying to help with my challenge. MLC looks like he has set me on the right track by challenging my closet bracket strength concern. However I am not sure about a metal bracket as you could catch your leg on it when in the seated position.
I was hoping someone could come up with oh you need to look at these guys they make loads of cheap teak standard components - moon on a stick i guess!
