I checked Grit.cx out of desperation. Thought a temporary thread may have been running there to allay the boredom. No...nothing on there for a whole month.

Plot twist, the upgrade was a smokescreen, the forum is actually hosted at ukfast which has been down most of the day. 😉

In History you get to see what people have actually posted, not just which threads they have posted on.

I've been so bored today I've had to do some work.

Just for a vague attempt at something helpful for the techies, the speed is woeful on laptop (I've done a speed test and all checks out fine).

I know, they could have told me beforehand and i would have explained that the inspection would have to wait until tomorrow because STW is down. I could have done it all today.

House looks really good, inspection done, no problems at all. Now to try and sort this xmas thing i have been hearing about.

I thought I'd observed that bigger threads take longer to open. But that was before today too.

I am a big fan of the admin not posting anything at all about what's been done, new features, the stuff which was removed etc. It's like they've gifted us the gift of working out what, if anything has changed.

If it helps, even when the page opens it loads in stages. Scroll down too fast and and you get a white screen which then fills progessively.

Looking at the developer tools there must be something wrong with the .js files in the background. The rest of the site loads in no time apart from 4 files.
