If the supermarkets were genuinely bothered by panic buying, they'd remove the shopping trolleys. #onlybuywhatyoucancarry

Thats a stupid comment OP - if i buy nappies for my little lad, plus 6 pints of milk then my basket is full! What do my wife, myself, and my daughter do for food then?

I've just done a week's sensible-non-panic shopping for my parents, that was a small trolley full.

Item limits is the way forward (and a waiving of competition law so the supermarkets can coordinate them)

People would go round multiple times (some clownshoes are already doing this) or take their entire family with two baskets each.

We already have a panic buying thread, go there.
