Not seen one of these before - a weird small business type plane going really fast over our place today, twin engines with props at the back and a small wing on the front as well as normal wings and tail plane. Closest thing on google I can find is this, a Piaggio:

Something very similar comes into staverton airport in Gloucestershire very regularly, quite a distinctive noise to it.
The small wing on the front is known as a canard. Do a search for "twin pusher propeller plane with canard" and you should get close.
Not many pushers out there, and if it was prop, it's almost certainly an Avanti as above.
I can’t ever hear the term ‘canard’ and not think about this:

It moves pretty quick for a GA 4 seater.

Gizzaclue - not bothered about an 8-fgure grid reference or postcode but you can be a bit more specific.
I see those going in/out of Biggin hill occasionally.
Scuttler - Near Bournemouth so presume heading to airport there. Was going pretty quick and sounded like an angry bee.
One came over today, Oxon. Very distinctive sound.
Russians testing the Ekranoplan again?
Avanti(s) regularly flies in an out of Farnborough - distinctive noise and silhouette
It's been a bit windy recently - was it just a normal plane flying backwards?
