For me it HAS to be sweet chilli dipping sauce - honestly, it can go on ANYTHING!
At times I have to refrain from dumping it all over my food to save from irritating the wife too much!
Mix it with mayo and you've got a mild sandwich spread or "chip dipping" sauce..... Mmmm!
Ketchup or brown sauce pales in comparison, oui?
Oh, and don't forget oyster sauce - salty fishy goodness, get in!!
Anything else I'm missing out on??
DrP
I am currently trying to nearly OD on
HORSERADISH
I just can't stop
Worcestershire Sauce (proper lea and perrins, no other copy. And certainly not Yorkshire sauce!)
Frenchs mustard
Edit

Red condiments are a sign of moral turpitude.
I tried pesto once. I belive it's wonderful for keeping slugs of your plants, but you wouldn't eat it, would you?
Balsamic Glaze
Buy cheapest balsamic. Put in a pan with some sugar. Reduce. Voila - cheap balsamic glaze.
Coleman's Mustard.

No such thing as "one condiment to rule them all".
All cupboards should contain several condiments to suit your every taste needs...
+1 for the reggae reggae!

It is with terrible shock and sadness in our hearts that I must announce the untimely death of Peter Seymour, 'Chillipepperpete', most wonderful husband, father, friend, and chilli legend.
First I'd heard of him. 🙁
HP all the way, but only from glass bottle!!
Well that sucks 🙁
Hendo's 🙂
One condiment to rule em all...??
Does not exist, you MUST be specific!
Chips = Mayo and Ketchup
Steak = English Mustard
Roast Beef = Horseradish
Fryup = HP Sauce
Pork = Apple Sauce
etc etc etc
Squidlord is correct. This...
Red condiments are a sign of moral turpitude.
...doesn't dismiss that, it reinforces it.
A few years ago there was Peppadew sauce, it was a bit like tomato sauce but not as sweet and with more bite, it was bloody awesome, it should have taken over the world, but alas it seems to no longer exist.

No snobishness Cougar, HP is the king of ready made condiments.
But tomato sauce, whilst acceptable for infants, breastfeeding mothers, the elderly and the infirm is a measly, vinegary tasteless abomination.
I believe overuse of 'ketchup' to be an indication of a tendency towards bestiality and excessive self abuse.
A bottle is usually found in the kitchen cupboard of most serial killers.
Err. Vinegar.
I can eat anything with or without sauces, but chips without vinegar?
Never.
Rusty, at the risk of repeating myself, if a love of ketchup is indicative of a penchant for debauchery and deviance, I can't argue with you.
I'm sure HP is pure and innocent, but the hell with virgins, bring me a slut.

Fact
Chilli flakes. /thread.
There's good, no one get's hurt, scream if you want to go faster deviance and serving your own, or someone else's gonads as a starter and setting fire to cats type deviance.
You'll find the ketchup in the fridge of those who tend to the latter, next to the pickled foreskins and a missing hitch - hikers head.
That Tiptree Farm tomato sauce is ****ing awesome. The poster above is correct though, one condiment is impossible.
Have just made some Pontack Sauce (Elderberry based, a bit like Lea & Perrins).
Apparently it'll be at it's best in about 7 years time... I'll post a review in 2019 😀
HP Brown sauce. Anyone who says different is a foreigner.
