Surprising she didn't have better AA defence, seems a bit short sighted with the benefit of hindsight.

One of my friends was on HMS Sheffield when she was hit. When things seem bad he's always been fairly chilled. I guess surviving that gives you a different perspective.

My step-brother was two decks down on [i]Coventry[/i] when she was hit. IIRC, it took him twenty minutes to get overboard.

A sub I was on had 2 blokes on, one was a stoker on the Glasgow and the other on a certain sub that had a word with the Belgrano.
