I had a g&s bowlrider, with tracker fulltrack's and excellerator (?) wheels. changed the deck to a benjyboard john sablosky.
Skated at the southbank, MDB and one in wandworth in an old cinema.
I'd love to know what happened to those boards.

Likewise Al hope you're well mate, do you still see Walsall's answer to Bill Danforth?!

I remember skating the vert with yourself and Nobby a few times, seeing him make his first Indy Nosepick. Good days!

I'd love to know what happened to those boards.

I know what happened to my Death Box board - the bottom step in South Bank..

Cleared the flight on the first attempt, so I had to have another, rather expensive, go. Caught the tail and snapped clean off across the truck bolts.

I know stampy has turned into a full on gym dude... My pal sees him quite often.

I'm pretty close to the Ideal lot,Zip, bob and Kris and still see skiff, Benny, Biffa moved to singapore or somewhere like that, and a few other old B'ham rippers (ones taht had been shredding 10 years plus when I started)

Walsall has an amazing new park in the arboretum, and so many rad little parks popping up around B'ham.

Good bunch of lads they are, apart from Clenton (Biffa).
Didnt know about the arboretum, has it got transitions / bowls or is it all flat banks & blocks ?

Ah yes, had a blast at Epic a while back but haven't skated for a fair bit now. Spending all my spare time on bikes!

I know Zip, Bob, Kris and Benny well, among others. Grew up skating with them at Wheels, you might remember Jagger as well?

Haven't seen Biffa in years, not since the Birmingham days.

I think Jagger's in London now, or was last time I heard off him anyway.

Nice pic, here's the only one I've got of me (at Barrow, thanks B'ham skate archive)

Rizla-Which ramp ?

Only joking abut Biffa but he is from from Muckley Corner.

Does sprog look older than 16 yet ?

Daz I think you might have been at Epic last time I was there with Matt/Nobby 3 ago maybe. Where do you ride bikes ?

Where do you ride bikes ?

Off road it's mostly night rides, local woods and loops to pubs etc. Occasional trips up to the Chase or Llandegla but it's been a while since we've ventured far.

Daylight hours are few and far between, save them for the road bike.

I guess you're on the Chase a fair bit, it's more or less on your doorstep?

My first board was a SC Jeff Kendall Too. Had the lowest tail ever and was a bit rubbish to be honest, but the graphic was great! Put me off Santa Cruz for life I think.

Then got a PP Ray Underhill (wanted a Schmitt Stix Danger), still in my parents garage.

Had those plastic based Tracker Ultralight trucks too.
