Firstly I condone all violence including verbal and have never included myself to be one of your so called Fellow Country man. We also sent our daughter to a Sikh religion private school for a number of years.
Plus I have never made my mind up on the basis of nationality or the colour of people nor have I implied this!

Well you seem really concearned about 2 eastern europeans, you've posted this one a couple of times. What was the point of it? You rattle on about "In My Country"maybe you need to explain your point a bit better?

Woman of my wife's nationality was attacked in our small town on Friday, suggestions it was racially motivated. She's already scared so I don't want to worry her more, but she does need to visit friends in the evening and that means walking about. Any bright ideas?

Bright ideas? Probably not. But as a start (and this is all of us)...

- if you see it get involved, do the right thing
- make it clear that immigrants are people and you will treat them in the same way you'd want any other person to be treated
- feel free to make it clear that criminals are criminals, whether they are racist abusers or immigrants steeling your identity. The common thread is their criminality not their nationality
- be welcoming of immigrants. The overwhelming majority are here to work, pay taxes and build a better life. They came here because it looked like a good place that they would enjoy. You don't want to wreck what's good about the UK, nor do they.

It was interesting to note on the voting map the higher immigration areas generally voted more remain - was that because they'd actually met immigrants rather than read scare stories? Who knows.

The one thing that I appreciated was that when I was being harassed or mugged or attacked, they did it in English.

Back to the OP, given the opportunity, I'd like to be in NZ or the US. Switzerland would also be nice, to earn loads of money, learn French and live in the mountains.

You're more likely to have to learn German, and even if you do they'll speak their local dialect unless addressing you directly.
