Hi guys,

I'm based in Devon and I'm familiar with few "travellers villages" around here. Are there any spots like this in Warrington, Liverpool, Manchester area?

I'm trying to help to find a missing person https://www.missingpeople.org.uk/help-us-find/tomasz-skorski-20-004120

He is my old friend who suddenly disappeared. According to his family and ex-partner he has been struggling with depression for long time and it is quite likely he decided to abandon his environment and possibly living in his car somewhere... According to the police the car is still registered to his name and had been seen recently somewhere in North West.

Yes, the police are involved, but his disappearance is classed as "low risk", so no real progress is searching....

There's definitely traveller sites but I'm not sure about New Age traveller/crusty type places, sometimes there is some crossover though.

I'd try asking on a FB group like this -

Good luck

had been seen recently somewhere in North West.

Got anything more specific?

There's a few van camping spots in the Peak District set up during lockdown and declared as sort of "safe zones", the main one is top of Broken Road (by Blue John Cavern), and in amongst the flotilla of vans capable of crossing the Amazon, there's always a few people in the back of cars. There's a second, less busy, spot at the bottom of Broken Road. Both pretty secluded, there's no through traffic other than walkers.
