Has anyone done a family friendly surf trip here that can recommend where to surf beach break and stay with the family close by.
I have been to Fuertventura a few times and stayed at Corrralejo and that worked well. It’s a tad touristy but bearable, but fancy a change this year.
Any recommendations (not Morocco)?

Thanks but I have done Portugal before and want to go to the canaries as we want the weather in October.
Las Americas is one of the only real reefs in the south.
Some over towards Playa San Juan.
Best is in the north at Benijo But you’d better be on the ball as it’s proper Atlantic cold and full force. However the waves are properly large and run for miles.
Work out the “family” bits from there but Las America’s would be my suggestion with plenty to do for them and you if the surf is pants
