I'm heading on Sunday night for a gig, not too familiar with Brizzle - is there anywhere good to eat nearby?
You're just off Park Street - plenty of pubs/restaurants there.
Jolly good. Any recommendations? Something cheapish?
I'd say on Sunday night, just start from the top (it's steep) and walk down - nowhere will be too busy - and choose - there are Thai Restaurants, Burger Houses, Pubs, Proper Restaurants right down to nasty takeaways down the bottom.
Or, head down to just where you can see the big pedestrianised bit in the centre and take a right along the waterfront - and eat in the Watershed - good local food at middle of the road prices and lovely beers.
There's also a place...it's the very first restaurant as you walk along the footpath by the pubs - but can't think of it's name - ah, yes, No. 1 Harbourside - supposed to be excellent (but maybe not "cheap").
Cool thanks. 😀
Been about 10years since I've been in Bristol - should be fun!

It's a good venue, easy to get to as well. Only a short walk from train station.
I'd avoid yo-yo burger, me and my attorney had supper there a while back and a pretty young lady, part of a group opposite us, began chatting with us. As they were leaving it was noted that the unfortunate lass had made a miscall of nature. Still, they do serve late.
