We will be in touch
Evening STWers,
it would appear aol mail has been having issues (that's our family email provider) and as such the I phone, I pad and the PC are all having sync problems.
I have deleted the aol account and re-instated it on the I phone and I pad and now all is OK. 🙂
If I do the same with the MS Outlook on this PC, am I correct it should not affect any of our email folders I have created in Outlook (which are all stored on this PC)?
ta in advance and sorry for the numpty question

It shouldnt. However i suspect aol Might only let you see folders if you connect via an IMAP connection. to be safe you could go into control panel and search for an item called Mail. Open this and create a new outlook profile. Configure this for aol again. Tick the box to say “choose when opening outlook which profile to use” and see what mess the new profile loads.
the connection I have currently is IMAP, the folders I want to save are all saved on the PC.
cheers I'll try your suggestion
aahhhh !!!!
Have tried a new profile and even deleted the original email address from the original profile and added a new one.
The problem is neither the new profile or the original will load the inbox, it is showing the sent items and bulk emails but for some reason will not refresh the inbox.
Anybody got any pointers for me please?
Possibly you need to subscribe to the right folders.
hot_fiat, you sir are a bloody hero 🙂
Thanks very much, sorted at last.
