Stealth bomber just went over Cheltenham.

Bit unusual to see one outside the states. Or even see one at all.

I guess it's being sent "just in case" the Ukraine situation goes wrong. Our more wrong, maybe.

Can't be a very good one if you saw it...

Any airshows about maybe?

What was it? B2?

Two landed at Fairford. RIAT is in four weeks time so a little early for that.

Two deployed to RAF Fairford as per press release below:

โ€œThis deployment of strategic bombers provides an invaluable opportunity to strengthen and improve interoperability with our allies and partners,โ€ said Adm. Cecil Haney, commander, US Strategic Command in a USAF statement. โ€œThe training and integration of strategic forces demonstrates to our nationโ€™s leaders and our allies that we have the right mix of aircraft and expertise to respond to a variety of potential threats and situations.โ€

Apparently their call signs are Death 11 and Death 12!

Death 11 and Death 12!

I'm sure they will only be used to covertly drop UN aid packages to hungry refugees and the like...
