Went on a wee cycle in Northumberland last year down Coast and Castles and up the Sandstone Way. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wanting to take the wife next week, camping out of the motor. Can anyone recommend a good campsite or two to stay at. Coast, inshore, anything, just tell me why you like it.

Cheers!

Annstead Farm, Springfield Farm and Elford Farm are all near Seahouses and good. Elford is basic but lovely and quiet

Proctors Stead, Dunstan, just outside Craster. My favorite of all time, the place my kids first camped even though it was 3km from home.

Either of these two will see you alright, close to Bamburgh - beaches and castles territory
