Ronde Van Calderdale - only short route left (55km), but that should give you a taste of what the full route is like. Lots of steep, cobbled climbs basically 🙂

I was interested, but the website says...

This event will not take place in 2015.

🙁

Derwentside Dash is a great and tough ride in July, this is the link to last year and the facebook page. It used to be in April with snow, even July was bloody freezing! Cheap by Sportive standards.

A few for you to mull over:

Three sportives held over the year. Did the summer and autum ones which I thought were well run and only about sixty or so entries so quite a relaxed atmosphere

To close to the Fred for me but worth thinking about

This is the 2014 site but I'd imagine they will be doing one this year.

Richmond 5 Dales Sportive _ Spring Bank Holiday weekend
http://www.richmondcc.co.uk/

The 100 mile route has a lot of tough climbs
£20 including food

Etape Du Dales
A bit earlier than the one above and a little harder IMO

Vigin money cyclone is a good route. UCI race on the Sunday too if that interests you - you can compare how the pros make light work of what nearly killed you the day before.

Wooler Wheel 100 miler in Northumberland.Best event i rode last year.
Darlington Council do a 100 miler on the first Sunday in Sept. Its a bargain at £4.
Haydon 100 from Haydon Bridge was a good route, just spoiled by the weather last year.

The British Heart foundation have one in the peaks in about September I think the longest was about 40mile last year. Evans ride it have a few off road ones that are based around the north. I have a list of all the ones I had book marked last year that I can email you, or I did post it a few weeks ago on here under a thread about mtb marathons or something.

Also the Evans rides were good - I did the Grizedale Grizzly on a cx bike. Excellent.
