Nightmare, went out to a club for about the first time in 4 or 5 years on friday. I'm still deaf with a ringing tinnitus today, much more in 1 ear. Kinda worried its not going to go away, its horrible ๐Ÿ™

I have noise damage deafness - at least in part from loud clubs - I always carry and use earplugs now - although its a year or two since I have been in a club.

Protect your hearing. Noise levels at gigs and clubs is so high that if it was an industrial situation you would need ear defenders and exposure times would be measured in minutes

Yeah, lots of nights out with distorted sound systems have left me with a constant ringing in my ears, drives me mad when trying to go to sleep in a quiet house.

Yeah I already had tinnitus (after a dunking in some very very cold water?!) and ever since my hearing has been super sensitive. Alas after a few beers my judgement wa impaired and I wandered into the club section of the building and am thusly deaf. I will always carry earplugs in future, it just isnt worth it - im not on the pull anymore anyway lol.

I think it will fade, it is doing very slowly at the moment, but its taking longer than it ever has. I'm on a mixture of vitamins and A C and E aspirin, apparently has recently been shown to reduce noise induced hearing loss in animals if taken within a few days of the damage occuring. No idea if its going to work in me, or what dose to take, so I'm self-medicating to the maximum RDA of everything in an attempt to do everything I can to recover!

Mate went to a party at the local conservative club, next day he couldnt hear rattional thought or word, just political brainwashing, so went to the drs , and explained about his premature deafness, the dr looked at him and said, sorry theres nothing we can do, just dont listen too arse- holes anymore.
Insert labour if youre that way inclined.
