[Closed] Nice little Xmas tail...

I don't normally post about work, but thought this may bring a wee smile.
Out and about yesterday on patrol dealing with the usual stuff when a MOP (member of public) stops us and reports a stray dog.
Managed to locate and catch the dog with the help of some jammy dodgers.
Lovely thing , lurcher type but in a bad way. Cold, wet thin with really sore sore paws.
Took to local vet who gave her a once over and much needed drink/proper food (unlike me who can survive a full 12 hours on Jaffa Cake)
Follow up just now, Holly (festive name) is doing great. No microchip or anyone missing a lurcher so will be re-homed in a few weeks.Her paws will need a few weeks to heal and she will right a rain.

Anyway, it was nice to have a happy ending at the end of a shift.
